Days 6 and 7 - Saturday, May 6th and Sunday, May 7th

I'm recapping the weekend on Monday, so I'm not going to get into specifics with meals mostly because I can remember specifically what I ate.  I will say that I followed the meal template for each meal and survived the weekend without going off plan or snacking which I consider a victory.

The biggest issue for the weekend was getting over the social piece of food and alcohol.  We had a cookout and bonfire at some friends' house and not partaking in the drinking or eating of ALL THE CHIPS was tough.  Again, I was not shamed or questioned as to why I wasn't drinking or eating (I did grab a clean hamburger but damn was it tough watching my most favorite chips passing under my nose) but it was weird not being part of the social piece of joining in with the food and drinks.  I kept trying to find consolation in knowing I wouldn't wake up feeling like a hungover piece of garbage on Sunday.  I guess it worked.

Slaying the Sugar Dragon has been relatively painless so.  The Chip Monster, on the other hand, still has a tight grip on me!
