Day 3 - Wednesday, May 3rd

Meal 1:  Three hard boiled eggs and a Granny Smith apple with almond butter.  I woke up later than I had planned, and we had to leave the house 20 minutes early for Elaina's student council meeting. That combination didn't leave me with enough time to make breakfast at home, so I grabbed what I could to eat at school.  I brought some broccoli for my vegetable but I just couldn't stomach eating that so early in the morning.  I also woke up with a dull headache today and felt super tired.  I guess maybe this is the hangover they warn you about.

Meal 2:  The final leftovers of the pork loin and sweet potatoes plus strawberries.  I know the book says to limit fruit with no more than two servings a day but I just can't stop.  I almost always ate a fruit with each meal prior to doing Whole30 so it's part of my routine.  I know that's probably all the more reason to try to cut it out or at least limit it, but maybe I'll work on that for next week.  My headache was gone by lunch, but after lunch I felt a little shaky and sweaty.  No idea what that was all about.

Meal 3:  Shredded chicken with salsa served over greens with guacamole.

Workouts:  No workout today. I had a visitation to attended out of town.  My legs are really sore today though from yesterday's workout.

General Mood & Thoughts:  I felt like garbage when I woke up today.  I was sleepy and groggy, and my head felt like it weighed about 15 pounds.  I was stressed out about not having time to prepare a hot breakfast so I need to plan better for morning meals for next week especially since I can already tell that I'm going to get sick of eggs sooner rather than later.  Reading advice from others in Whole30 forums I see several people cutting out eggs as part of their reset.  I honestly don't know how I could do this without eggs.
